When we made that road trip out to Anaheim We drove to the beach with some cherry wine The tide was rollin’ in Yeah, I could taste your salty skin And the waves that lapped up on the sand Seemed to drive our midnight mystery dance As strong and right as that real thing was I missed those sultry nights and the feeling of Macon Georgia love With the windows open wide The honeysuckles bloom and their perfume Sweeten kisses through the night All the love I share with you Honey, when I’m there with you Seems we just can’t make enough So let’s get back to Macon…loveNow, I recall that lodge up in Telluride The cozy fur rug by the fireside That brandy, wine and lace Soon became our soft embrace But that mountain spark just wasn’t the same As a blazing southern Georgia flame When I hold you close in that steamy heat And you curl your toes up in the sheets Macon Georgia love With the windows open wide Honeysuckles bloom and their perfume Sweeten kisses through the night All the love I share with you Honey, when I’m there with you Seems we just can’t make enough So let’s get back to Macon…loveAnd when we’re home at sundown I’ll set the guitar by the bed Lay your dress upon the chair Pull that ribbon from your hairMacon Georgia love With the windows open wide Honeysuckles bloom and their perfume Sweeten kisses through the night All the love I share with you Honey, when I’m there with you Seems we just can’t make enough So let’s get back to Macon…love

This is really cool, I wish the opening riff woulda gone two times in the intro, but I guess he was thinking of getting right to it for publisher.
I wasn't expecting a country voice when I heard the riff, it has a jazz fusion feel in the riff, smidge like love in an elevator...aerosmith.
But its a good high octane country rocker.
Good double hook, enjoyed .

Hi Robert, I agree, great write. I would like to hear this about 10% slower so the singer could take a little more time with the words, but that is personal preference.
