Hello fellow songwriters
I hope everyone is well and keeping safe in these terrible times I hope you have enjoyed my music that I've brought here
I am probably asking in the wrong place for help but
Covid and lockdown has simply ruined me financially and I'm in severe debt
I'm now reaching out desperately to anyone that could help me get through this before I lose it all
My family sadly are not in a position to help right now which is where I'd normally go to
If there is any kind humans out there with a few dollars to spare I'd be forever grateful
Kind regards
Chris

Maybe some of you are lyric writers like me. Chris might could provide your lyrics with music and his fabulous vocals for a fee.

Supply outweighs demand. There are endless free opportunities to collaborate and likely 100 available lyricists for every composer out there wanting to collaborate. Giving it away is daunting enough, selling it simply not realistic.
I am moving this to an appropriate board. This is not the place.

Its pretty damned dire in the states too. We've got 30 million on unemployment, and shutdowns are affecting everything from restaurants, to concerts to sports attendance, to crippling transportation uber and airline and a government that is more concerned with who will win the next election, than supplying aid to citizens.
I understand your not expecting music business money and just asking for help from people here, but music is a dead end to making money, its just not gonna happen.
What you could try is going on YouTube and asking directly for help . here's is my song, my story, I'm broke...please donate
Or doing a kick starter or pledge music campaign, explain your making an album to support your family..."help me raise this amount of money while you get to hear my music."
I understand somebody made a YouTube video saying he needed enough money to pay his mothers rent for one month, and somebody walked to where he was and covered the whole thing.
It can happen, but writing your politicians and tweeting them telling them how bad it is for some, might be the only route .
Its rough, i have family and friends struggling too. good luck to you.
