Before their history is erased. Composed these three piano pieces in the style of Mozart, Bach and Beethoven. First three tracks: https://johnlarenceschick.com/home John

Enjoyed my listen, John:
Let us hope these brain dead kooks get arrested and shipped off to prison soon. All lives and cultures matter... but nobody has the right to hurl accusations about this great country of expect us to appreciate "kneeling" at sports events that have traditionally had the National Anthem Played. I can do without televised sports if insults to our troops, airmen, sailors and marines are going to be included during the game.
Thanks, ----Dave

I agree Dave! The latest video I saw was stating that music theory and white supremacy go hand-and-hand. So, I may as well forget all I was talk and start over on the appropriate music theory curriculum. Best, John

I enjoyed these. Loved the mood descriptions - "cheerful" and "charming" for Mozart, "restless" for Bach. And you captured these really well. Write more music - watch fewer videos

Yeah John the corona thread helps nobody, some how I got sucked into it again. I thought they were very good tributes. Mozart more busy, bach more reverent. Beethoven kind of a mix of both. Your Mozart shrills and triplets reminds me of the who's Baba O'Reilly . https://m.youtube.com/watch?v=mvaflCibP2UGood stuff. I don't listen to it much but there's a reason it's lasted all these centuries. I'd say some of the finest music ever composed. I often wonder if they ever improvised? As far as greatness they are right up there with The Ramones..lol https://m.youtube.com/watch?v=99aIsTRpz1U

Those are nice John, the playing is incredible. I'm very impressed.
forgive me if i have a mathematical mind (which has done diddly for my music despite things i have heard of music and math being related), but anyway, let me put things in a mathematical perspective.
on a insult-to-soldiers scale of 1 to 10 , 1 is kneeling during the national anthem 10 is Trump calling veterans and fallen soldiers suckers and losers 666 is Trump refusing to to anything about,, or even question Putin about ,the bounties on our soldiers in Afganistan.
666, hmm why is that number so familliar?j oh yeh, Kushner bought 666 5th avenue.
Jarad Kushner, not his father Charles Kushner, who was sentenced to jail in 2005 for tax evasion and witness tampering.
witness tampering, why does that sound so familiar? oh yeh, one of the felonies that convicted felon Rodger Stone was convicted of was witness tampering. He even threatened to kill the dog of a witness.
oh, so anyway, on this same scale, Trump calling Mc Cain a loser is maybe a 9? John Mc Cain was a hero, maybe 20? but going into politics is a bit like jumping into a Mosh Pit, you have to expect some insults,
if playing another song in addition to the start spangled banner is an insult, 1 ? how bad is skipping 3/4 of it ? off. i'm not sure, but I just want to say that isn't the Dimocrats fault. somebody cut those lines out of sports performances long before Kapernik.
You may notice i said DIMocrats. yes i did. that is because extra songs next to the national anthem isnt going to hurt/help/ or solve anything. Liberals are wasting energy on this, and for that I am sad. This song concession doesn't improve anything.
But anyway, here are the other verses of the Star Spangled Banner
O say can you see, by the dawn's early light, What so proudly we hailed at the twilight's last gleaming, Whose broad stripes and bright stars through the perilous fight, O'er the ramparts we watched, were so gallantly streaming? And the rockets' red glare, the bombs bursting in air, Gave proof through the night that our flag was still there; O say does that star-spangled banner yet wave O'er the land of the free and the home of the brave?
On the shore dimly seen through the mists of the deep, Where the foe's haughty host in dread silence reposes, What is that which the breeze, o'er the towering steep, As it fitfully blows, half conceals, half discloses? Now it catches the gleam of the morning's first beam, In full glory reflected now shines in the stream: 'Tis the star-spangled banner, O! long may it wave O'er the land of the free and the home of the brave.
And where is that band who so vauntingly swore That the havoc of war and the battle's confusion, A home and a country, should leave us no more? Their blood has washed out their foul footsteps' pollution. No refuge could save the hireling and slave From the terror of flight, or the gloom of the grave: And the star-spangled banner in triumph doth wave, O'er the land of the free and the home of the brave.
O thus be it ever, when freemen shall stand Between their loved homes and the war's desolation. Blest with vict'ry and peace, may the Heav'n rescued land Praise the Power that hath made and preserved us a nation! Then conquer we must, when our cause it is just, And this be our motto: 'In God is our trust.' And the star-spangled banner in triumph shall wave O'er the land of the free and the home of the brave!

Listening to Mainstream News Sources is naive. On BOTH sides of this fake, orchestrated, narrative. I am no fan of Trump but the obviously fake claims against him simply cover up the real crimes both "parties" engage in while useful idiots on both sides fight it out and get nothing done further burying the real world. The USA debt alone PROVES these criminals are in it together as both sides just bury the next 10 generations into impossible debt while they are ALL best buddies and partners in crime right out in the open that MSM ignores. Tilting at windmills is a far better use of time by comparison to the bogus left/right fantasy.. It's all a fairy tale told to VERY drowsy children.

... I am no fan of Trump but the obviously fake claims against him simply cover up the real crimes ... Just interested, what fake claims? Obviously the Mueller report found no evidence of a conspiracy between the russians and the trump campaign (which I put in the "good news" category), but it certainly seems like most of the things reported or claimed (that were labelled "fake news") have ended up being found out to be true. Of course there is always incorrect reporting, but MSM news organizations (from what I can tell) posted corrections/retractions when they got stuff wrong. In acknowledgement of opposing viewpoints, here is an article that says which items were "fake news": Fake News items

What annoyed me the most was the white supremacy theory stab at traditional music theory. Hey, we all use 12 half-steps and their octaves. Do with them as you please, but don’t tell me how to compose. Besides, I often use alternant scale modes in my music. But most the time I just compose what I feel without regards to any music theory. Hey, Danny Elfman uses the Lydian Mode in the Simpson’s theme: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Xqog63KOANcBest, John

In acknowledgement of opposing viewpoints, here is an article that says which items were "fake news": Fake News itemsWe spent 3 years nightly hearing LIES about Trump and Russia. ALL those "experts" who claimed they had facts and proof of Trump's evil doings were 100% lying because those same a-holes testified in secret that they had ZERO evidence of ANY wrongdoing by Trump. ZERO. Yet nightly they lied to everyone on MSM media. So pardon me if I don't believe the absurd account of him calling fallen vets suckers and losers. Just more lame bullsh!t by the same deep state liars. And there are PLENTY of liars in both parties. Meanwhile the REAL criminal acts no one ever calls attention to because that is the goal, hide the truth, tell the lies. The lies get people worked up while ignoring the crimes of both sides together. Wake up man, you've got to see this nonsense. If our generations can't see it, we have no hope of our brainwashed kids and grandkids ever seeing through it. This is OUR WWII. We need to step up and call this out and stop accepting the nonsense. Going on 27 trillion in debt? Triple what it was just a couple decades ago? Trump is just as guilty as Obama and Clinton and the Bushes. Reagan and Nixon before them, same old. Nixon took us off the Gold Standard and the fix was in. Johnson seemed implicitly guilty in what happened to Kennedy (along with his deep state buddies). Kennedy and Eisenhower both tried to warn us. Trump is verbally doing the same but it is clear the permanent controllers of the unelected always in power bureaucrats have all the power now. Both establishment right and left have been against Trump since day one. He's done some positive things including reducing our push to more war, but in exchange he's spent a record amount on the military industrial complex. If they can make their money that way, perhaps more war can be postponed, but it's coming. They'll want to use their "toys" on innocent victims soon enough. No president, not the obviously mentally declining Biden or his functionary handler Harris, no Trump and his functionary handler Pence. Please folks on the right and left, realize we are not each others problems. They hate both sides equally.

Just more divisive bullshit to rile up both sides.
