Hi All,

This is the second true story, except for his name. He was a beautiful little boy, full of life and joy, who needed to wait until he was 18 months before he could have an operation that would have fixed a hole between his trachea and esophagus. He didn't make it because his mother said she deserved time for herself.

Dennis

The first time that I saw you
You were 6 months old
But before we knew it
Your story had been told
Born into a family
That didn’t care for you
They said that they loved you
But it wasn’t true

This is your story Dennis----------} Chorus
It’s taken me some time
To find the words to say
I wish you’d been mine
You were a little early
It happens that way
Not perfect inside yet
You needed some more days

You had little sisters
So sweet in their ways
I saw X-rated movies
Before them as they played
Said something to their parents
How this wasn’t right
Next thing that I knew
This was my last night

This is your story Dennis--------} Chorus
A nurse walked in to find
You on the third floor
She almost lost her mind
You’d passed a while ago
No one had been to see
No one was watching you
Only your family

How can people be so cruel------} Bridge
To let life go this way
They got away with this
And never had to pay

Instrumental Break

This is your story Dennis
You’d be alive today
Given loving parents
Why did you pass away
Because yours were selfish
Didn’t care one bit
I hope karma’s true and
Their lives are really [naughty word removed]

I hope karma’s true and
Their lives are really [naughty word removed]
