Encore in the house of the lord
Verse A window opened in the sky The sun began to shine. I walked across a rainbow bridge Toward a welcome smile. I was greeted with a handshake. I was welcomed aboard Like a member of the family In the house of the lord. Chorus The angels stood and clapped their hands And shouted play some more. Sing another song for us like Knocking on Heaven’s Door. The angels stood and clapped their hands And shouted out- encore! Verse Ain’t over when the curtain falls Sometimes you play some more. Sometimes when you’re good enough You hear the call;- encore. It’s not over till it’s over And only then you’ll know If you’ve been assigned to the cast For the next big show. Chorus The angels stood and clapped their hands And shouted play some more. Sing another song for us like Knocking on Heaven’s Door. The angels stood and clapped their hands And shouted out encore! Bridge Keep playing your piano. Keep singing your songs. Keep bringing happiness We’ll see you later on. The angels stood and clapped their hands And shouted out encore!

Hi Carroll, I like this a lot. it sure would be nice to be greeted like that when my time is done. I will be real happy not to feel the flames licking at my feet. Just kidding, I have a place at the table. One small suggestion, KOS: As I was piped aboard ( Makes me think of being piped aboard the ship and heavenly organs playing.
