Sounds like a good sing-a-long for the peaceful protests in Minnesota and Oregon.

They're good for a laugh, Moose, but the meter isn't really that of a limerick
A pedantic old git, name of Gavin Said that's too many beats that you have in Those lines in the middle Da dum diddy diddle Six beats at the most, never seven

Hi Moosesong:
Gavin knows! He's nearly as old as me... but I'm ahead of him in the ugly department! When I was a freshman, Limericks were very much in-vogue. (You can imagine how "naughty" some were... but I doubt if they would raise an eyebrow today!) You've taken a political direction with this one and I respect your premise. Perhaps you've found a "niche" market!
Best of luck with your creativity.
----Dave

I used to write limericks as a little kid. My grandfather gave me a book to write them in and I went through a phase of churning them out like crazy. I've lost that book, which is probably just as well, as I'm sure they were awful. Moose's on the other hand are pretty clever. They made me chuckle.

I love it Moose and so appropriate. Love the posts and Gavins insight into limericks. Hopefully we can boot this president like bad lyrics.
