This is a new one that was written strictly for fun. The past few months have been depressing to say the least, so I wanted to escape the "woe is me" mindset for at least one song. I used three of Nashville's best pickers on this one: Janee Fleenor on fiddle, Mike Johnson on steel, and Brent Rader on guitar and vocal. Thanks for listening - now go live it up! Morning, Marvin:
This one has Garth Brooks written all over it! LOL! Not your usual "bill of fare" as songs go... but we all need to break the mould every now and then. The good news... you never know where it may lead. The bad news... Is anybody in Nashville listening these days?
All the best... and stay out of those Honky-Tonks and Bars... at least not without a mask and social distancing.

Hi Marvin, Well written and well done radio ready demo. You could probably get it out on the indie/satellite stations as is and if you can get it in front of the right people it should be easy to place. Good luck.

Hey Marvin...
Good tune to wake up to. Demo sounds good.
The technique I like the best is not including the LYRICS...
Most of the time I won't listen if it's not included, but we go back a bit & I knew it would be a good one.
But yeah, no LYRICS, means if someone wants to crit & nit, thewy gotta do some work...
Pro all around my friend

Omitting the lyrics takes some of the fun out of it from people who like reading the lyrics. People here are not used to that but that's how music is heard. Story songs are different.
I enjoyed the track and the clever hook. There are alot of cliche lines in there, not sure if that would.hurt it's chances.
But a fun listen.
