Can’t drink her off my mind. Verse Snuff out my last cigarette Exhale a cloud of smoke. Take a stiff shot of bourbon Reread the note she wrote. Chorus I can’t forget her, I can’t forgive her. How can I kill the time? What’s it gonna take, what’s it gonna take To drink her off my mind. Verse Wad the note up, toss it Into a plastic bag. Gather the things she left behind Try to hide I’m sad. Chorus I can’t forget her, I can’t forgive her. How can I kill the time? What’s it gonna take, what’s it gonna take To drink her off my mind. Verse Another day of heartache. A life of wasted dreams. Another pack of camels Old reruns on TV. Verse Mindless hours killing time To keep her off my mind. Pour a glass of apathy Tells myself I’m fine. Chorus I can’t forget her, I can’t forgive her. How can I kill the time? What’s it gonna take, what’s it gonna take To drink her off my mind. Bridge Hour after hour, day after day. They all seem the same. Too little, too late, I sealed my own fate. Apathy’s to blame. Tag I can’t drink her off my mind.

I like this. it has a good theme and paints a dark picture of the singers state of mind. it is very good.
The last 2 lines of the bridge seem a bit out of step. sort of an oh by the way afterthought. The rest of the song has been devoted to painting a dark scenario. the question it put in my mind was "will the singer ever get over her", and not whose fault the break up was..

He lost her because he took her for granted. The old addage you don't know what you have till it's gone.
