OK so this won't be to everyone's taste for a Christmas song - but any feedback is welcome  Christmas - I Love Its GutsJack Frost drops a foot of snow Grandpa's caught his winter cold Children screeching at their parents while they're shopping Soon they will be squawking To see what's in their stockings Call me a sentimental fool Call me a dreamer, if you must But when it comes to Christmas I love its guts It's so damn cold the car won't start The bank's put a hold on my credit cards There's not much of anything to like about the season The pipes are always freezin' And Grandpa's always sneezin' Call me a sentimental fool Call me old-fashioned, out of touch But when it comes to Christmas I love its guts Seems they've got a special day for every season But those other holidays - I can take 'em or leave 'em When my friends say they hate Christmas - I don't believe 'em 'Cause when they hear I'm wrappin' gifts they want to see them ..and they want to squeeze them! Maybe I'm a sentimental fool Maybe I'm a dreamer - maybe not When it comes to Christmas ~ I'm very festivious! When it comes to Christmas ~ and I'm not even very religeeee - ous! So glad someone finally mustered up the courage to write and sing a song about what the "Commercial Side of Christmas" puts us through every year. Loved it, Paul! Every line, the sound effects, your always great vocal... and most of all... the lyric. Great melody, too!

Hi Paul,
You silly fool, telling some of the truths about Christmas. I love it. I have written silly/heart-wrenching/happy/sad/religious songs about Christmas but it's true, never one like this. Well done.

You managed to put everything in your song that I don't miss about Christ-miss, and then some. I love the humor and the reality of the holiday that you have penned. and then you wrap it up so nicely with your present-tation at the end...

Loved it, Paul. With the sound effects and the conversational asides, your songs deliver a whole comedy sketch that really draws me in. You make it all seem so easy, which of course, it's not. I love this song's guts

Great fun, Paul.
A lot of thought and work in it.
One small, tiny sugg production wise would be to reduce the volume on the piano a tad.
I can hear this in a musical show.
