I know you are all probably getting tired of me posting lyrics, but when the muse hits, I write. The muse hits me a lot more when I am in love, so here we go. Fresh ink!
Through Lifetimes Without End
The night is captivating Your eyes so warm and deep They hold me in their whirlpools As I fall off to sleep My dreams are like a voyage Cross waters rough and torn You hold me in your spell All through the raging storm
You are my guiding light-----------------} Chorus You are my closest friend I'll stay right beside you Through lifetimes without end You're in my soul forever Through lifetimes without end
Turnaround 4 bars
You wake while I am watching A vision soft and bright I thank God you're beside me Through the struggles of this life Don't know why I 'm this lucky How did I deserve this prize How will I ever earn The love that's in your eyes
You are my guiding light-----------------} Chorus You are my closest friend I'll stay right beside you Through lifetimes without end You're in my soul forever Through lifetimes without end
This is my song of love---------------} Bridge To show undying faith in you I will stay forever thankful For the things that make you you
You are my guiding light-----------------} Chorus You are my closest friend I'll stay right beside you Through lifetimes without end You're in my soul forever Through lifetimes without end
Instrumental Break 8 Bars
You are my guiding light-----------------} Chorus You are my closest friend I'll stay right beside you Through lifetimes without end You're in my soul forever Through lifetimes without end
You're in my soul forever Through lifetimes without end

Hi John I hope love lasts for you and the muse continues! Romantic songs sadly aren't on the menu just now for me but perhaps a long the way... I too liked the lines Calvin mentioned. The makings of a good song. All the best with it Regards Jihn

Hi John, Thanks for the visit, and the nice comments. Love tends to find us most easily when we aren't even looking for it. As long as you remain open, it will find a way. When I was young, I told every one I fell in love every few minutes, of course that was a whole lot different kind of love than we feel when we grow up. My new co-writer likes this one so don't be surprised to see it hit the MP3 forum. Don't know if you know it, but I had a #1 CMA co-write on the charts in your neck of the woods a while ago. A true to life lyric titled "Back to Country", sung by Paul Street. It was "Too country" for Nashville.
