You can love him all you want Just dance with me You don't have to say a word Just dance with me Let me hold you in my arms In the dim lights and soft sound You can think of him and his charms As we slowly spin around Just dance with me
You can carry his last name Just dance with me I'll bear you no shame Just dance with me Let my dreams come true tonight Like so many times before Those memories i hold tight Won't you say yes just once more And dance with me
We came here so many times, and danced the night away Years ago when you were mine, now it seems like yesterday But i know better than to get off this stool, and ask you for this dance I could have danced with you forever, but like a fool,i threw away the chance Come dance

Hi Mike, I love the built in "release" your bridge has here. The higher syllable count and more note saturated bridge is perfectly creating a release from the pent up feelings accumilating in the verses. Great work! Good to hear from you.

Long Time Mike but back at least for a minute or 2, This flows well, and as a dancer I have a soft spot for songs with dance in them. just a couple of thoughts: Years ago when you were mine, it seems like yesterday But i (wont) get (up off) this stool, and ask you for this dance (We) could have danced forever, but i threw away the chance Come dance (Oh please) Come Dance
