This is actually about letting go...just a work in progress.
©luna simone
Absence makes the heart grow fonder And yet, our intuitions wander Fastened to the all time low Surrendering to undertow
Your soul and self should matter more And if it's at a low Just remember You deserve much better So if you love her, let her go.
Loneliness is getting stronger Connection tears and so we falter If we learned how to let go We'd know freedom and tie it closed
Your soul and self should matter more And if it's at a low Just remember You deserve much better So if you love her, let her go.
Love is selfless Love is kind Just surrender Open your mind Learn to breathe the open air Surrender cause the truth is there.
Your soul and self should matter more And if it's at a low Just remember You deserve much better So if you love her, let her go.
Your soul and self should matter more And if it's at a low Just remember You deserve much better So if you love her, let her go.

This looks very singable. Good Structure.
For some reason a Line appeals to me, "If you love ME, let her go."
That introduces conflict, a Singer-Character speaking to a Love-Interest Character, about The-Other-Woman Character.
There will always be another song to be written. Someone will write it. Why not you? www.garyeandrews.com

Been hearing this song "It'll be alright"...Not sure why they named the tune it will be alright. IMO it should have been Let Her Go. Damn it's a great song...
And my friend said "I know you love her, but it's over, mate It doesn't matter, put the phone away It's never easy to walk away, let her go It'll be okay It's gonna hurt for a bit of time So bottoms up, let's forget tonight You'll find another and you'll be just fine Let her go"
...As a read, the lines seem to conflict a little with "IF YOU LOVE HER, LET HER GO"....
I mean why are we letting her go because we love her? Is she better without you. Or just as it seems by the lyric dude is heartbroken. If the man is heartbroken, the words IF YOU LOVE HER, don't quite serve.
Don't know if this makes sense, but what I'm saying is he is "valient" to love her & let her go...
Was she married? was he married? why let her go? Is he no good for her, she no good for him? Tighten the story and this will fall into place
Your theme the way you have started the write seems to be centered more on what is better for him, than her as the title implies "IF YOU LOVE HER-----LET HER GO"....
That's all I got. BTW, DISCLAIMER: For me personally just reading a lyric is not my strong point. In context of the soundwaves and emotion is my powerspot, so keep or sweep...I only read this one because of the TITLE....

"If one man can do it, any man can do it. It is true. But the real question is, if one man did it, are you willing to do what it takes to do it as well?" –Brian Austin Whitney
