Hi Folks, https://soundcloud.com/michael-zaneski/mike-z-musical-bed-08072019/s-654qQThis track is not for critiquing! I am giving it away to anyone and everyone who wants to use it. NO first-come-first-serve..You can be the tenth person to use it..that's fine! Why here? Brian says this is the place!I'm constantly cleaning out my external hard drives of works that I no longer need to hold on to. This particular track was from a cover a friend and client in Nashville wanted to sing. (Hi Cvan!) It's the chord progression. the basic musical bed to "The Crystal Ship" by the Doors. The musical bed I created contains ABSOLUTELY NO REFERENCE to The Doors song, other than the chords. It contains NO AUDIO from The Doors song--the music was played by me. The tempo is 140 BPM. Chord progressions are not protected under law, so you can feel free to write your own melody atop them, if you like, but there are dozens of other ways to use the track.. The track is actually pretty nice considering it was made in the Nineties with an Akai workstation keyboard. It's subdued, so it could be nice for a podcaster to read over, or if anyone wants to try a nice version of The Doors song on Karaoke Night, or chop it up and make loops, or write an original melody atop it..it's all good. All legal to do. I licensed it that way under a Creative Commons license.. I have no desire to do this cuz I couldn't get the original song out of my mind, and fear what I wrote would be derivative, and podcasting is not on my horizon, nor any karaoke Doors . But I hate to just throw anything out without considering a re-purposing... The file is downloadable by signing into your Soundcloud account, left clicking the "more" option, then left clicking "download." As another member (hi Guy!) likes to say.. Have fun! Mike

Hey Steve, I used your brilliant song ina bluesy way with a song called:
"It's Always Raining Now That I'm Lonely."
Thanks so much for the challenge and the thrill of combining, my thoughts, lyrics,
vocals and melody to your stellar work. It is posted on this forum for you to peruse.
Thanks again, Matt
