I think I've pretty much outdone even myself with this literal reminder of representing the roots rather than just reaping the benefits of fame from the game. Drop me your comments and critique all!

There's true blue queens of rap
Of which I won't forget
I'll hand my kudos to them
Cause they deserve respect
If you wanna get at me
You better come correct
And use a solid message
To connect

I'm not done with this mic
Still got some things to explain
You gotta do your homework
If you don't get the game
The history is broad
But it didn't tilt the same
And by that I mean to say
They got the art down the right way

You cannot get your mind right
Unless you know integrity
That's what comes before the fame
To me it's plain to see
If you don't understand the science
Of what it means to be humble
You better up and keep it real
Or you're be asking for trouble

I said I can't be stopped tonight
And that's damn right
[naughty word removed] all you posers
Don't waste your time on me it's a waste of your life
Do your self a favor go home and practice
Your pen and paper are on your desk
Hashtag reality check.

Sooooo....... Just out of curiosity, who are the "true blue queens" of rap?
Seems to me your lyric should lean more in that direction.... Perhaps compare yourself to your predecessors.
