Due to certain GUI HiDPI Problems in Cubase 10 Pro I recently got hold of Presonus Studio One 4 Pro and this is the first track I have recorded. If I do not see you before all have a lovely Easter of course without storms. :-) https://soundcloud.com/gerry-cooper-855281238/blowin-up-a-stormBest, Gerry

Thanks again, Gerry... for caring enough to share your work with us. That back-beat is infectious and you've made a great transition to "Studio One" quite well. Enjoyed, as usual. Best of luck with this one.

Gerry,
Great morning music to enjoy with my first cup of coffee! I actually have the day off, so I might check out a few posts on JPF! This is great listening, love everything about it. Love the panning especially giving the song a full yet "hollow feel" - if that makes sense. I do think the L guitars could be reduced about 2-3 DB since they are so far left--that would put them more distant sounding & back slightly--JMO, and a very small sug.
Love thunder in a song, I've used it. I'll never forget how many times I played The Doors 8 track song "Riders on the Storm" in my car driving in the night!
Wonderful listen!

steady-eddie Hi Eddie many thanks as always and you could well be right about the mix. Someone said that nobody over 50 should be anywhere near a mixing desk LOL at close on 74 my ears are shot. But on the basis that The Lord loves a trier I keep trying. Have a good one. Best, Gerry
