Hey guys, I've started selling some of my paintings and even digital images online but I need to automate the payment stuff. Everyone says use Paypal but I've heard they are not really safe and their receipt templates can't really be customized (I need it for my clients / customers). Has anyone used them? How are you guys collecting payment for your images, art work, etc. When it comes to technology, I'm as smart as a mule UPDATE: One of our programming gurus suggested Stripe? I think we're going to go with that instead. Thx!

Well, You may want to set up a Web Site if you haven't already. I have tons of images to sell but have never done much of anything else. Getting paid you can probably set up to accept credit cards but I have no idea what is required. There are Web Sites you can join to sell your images I think if you have a Web Site. One is Shutter Bug Store front, www.shutterbugstorefront.com Good luck.

I would be very honest, but invoice simple is not really good. I prefer using Freshbooks. I will only recommend the best invoicing tool that is easy to use. I have used it for many years and I really liked it the first time I used it. No headaches and their support are superb. If you disagree with this then I will show you how it made my business' accounting side of things smooth.
