Dave this is beautiful! What an intro as well. Supurb all round. Brian Beecher posted a lyric yesterday which i commented as the best i've seen from him. This as equal status. There might be one or two folks commenting on the longish intro- but it worked for me. Regards John

Well...all that is, is a lovely song-nice one Dave! One thing: The 3V is slightly confusing. A suggestion? Once I found the key... to erase your memory... But I couldn't make a stand... Now I'm doing all I can... To keep from drowning... in the River of Desire That vocal is butter! Best -Mike

Hi Travis:
Glad you took time from that busy schedule to listen. Thanks for your thoughts and I'll re-visit the intro if I ever re-cut it.
All the best, ----Dave

Dave,
Beautiful melody......enjoyed your passionate delivery too. I couldn't help of getting a "Somewhere in Time" feel with this, not that the melody was close, but the music feels from a more romantic earlier time--a good thing.

Dave, First off, I love that you are sharing your stuff in this way. Like all of us, I’m guessing you would prefer to have a fully-produced demo to debut your sound . . . but that’s kind of a luxury (at least for most of us). But here’s the thing . . . this is a pretty song just as is. It gives me every sense of what the song is and can be—you don’t need to do anything more to my ears at least. A relatable, tangible vocal . . . and a piano solo in-between the verses that is very compelling. It’s just plain good . . . so . . . Second off, keep these coming . . . I love hearing them! All the best, Deej

Thanks to so many of you who have taken time to listen and comment. I don't want to clog the music churn with my sentimental stuff but please know how much I appreciate hearing your thoughts and ideas. I'm so grateful. ...and to answer what some of you wonder, "Why didn't I get this one done as a demo?"... Mr. Zee is so busy right now... it might take six months to hear the result... LOL!
These next few days, I hope to post a few co-written songs with members from JPF and elsewhere. Remember please, you will be hearing the vocal of a man only one year in age behind Willie Nelson. I consider myself a song-writer first, a poor excuse for a vocalist and in dead-last place, a musician.
So... Martin, Mike, Mimmo, Eddie and Dave... Muchas Gracias Amigos!
