Simply put, our nation’s veterans need more help. To effectively combat this problem, we must enhance public awareness on a more frequent basis. The common goal is to greatly increase the number of informed citizens and inspire them to take action. “Alone we can do so little, together we can do so much” Helen Keller Jody Whitesides and his U.S. Military Veteran writing partner Greg Watton wrote and produced the song “Forgotten Warriors” as an anthem for our nation’s heroes while bringing added attention to the daily issues these brave men and women face. It was also created for veteran organizations and non-profits in mind as a way to be in support of their brands and the good works they provide. Jody Whitesides and Greg Watton’s anthem "FORGOTTEN WARRIORS" OUT NOW ON ALL DIGITAL FORMATS JUST IN TIME FOR VETERANS DAY!!! https://itunes.apple.com/us/album/forgotten-warriors-single/1439471080Article written about the song: https://www.parkrecord.com/entertainment/jody-whitesides-new-single-remembers-forgotten-warriors/

There is a simple way to help veterans avoid PTSD - stop the wars. I spent 2 years in Vietnam and saw friends literally vaporized. My husbands retired military too and we live near the home of the 101st AB. Many of the active duty soldiers there have never served when we haven't been at war someplace. They have 5 to 10 combat tours. The fact these guys aren't all going postal after that much combat says a lot about your typical Vets stability. A college student has PTSD because someone hollered at her - A military vet has seen their buddies killed right in front of them.
The good news is the VA system is working overtime to try and reach as many Vets as they can. But the Neo-con/the Russian's did so lets start another war folk in the US just seem to love piling it on today's soldier.

Best of luck with the song, Greg and Jody:
Let's hope we can stay out of future wars. Sue makes some great points. My take: If we go to war, let's fight the damn thing to win it and keep the politicians on the sidelines. Entering a war with the idea of "stalemate" is a waste of time and precious lives. Turning a potential enemy into a trading partner (if humanly possible) is a much better alternative.

Our young men and women join the Armed Forces for many reasons, some for service to the country and others for personal goals. They do not, and cannot know what combat is like until they are in it. The basic and individual training cannot include horror and non-stop fear.
They also have no clue what sacrifice means until it is required and experienced. A body can survive a war but be changed forever, and in ways that continue to deteriorate, such as my own. The other sacrifice that is devastating goes beyond personal physical and psychological injuries. It includes the loss of spouses, and entire families whose pain and anguish from the sacrifices they have to make are too much to endure. I work with these casualties, soldiers and families every day. One such family is a marriage of ten years, but have only been together for three, in bits of time here and there. My son has been in the service 15 years and counts himself blessed that he has only been deployed three times (currently on #3).
I have served 44 years with the Army (12 active duty and 32 as a counseling psychologist working with soldiers, families, and veterans). I will not give up my duty to those who are doing and have done their duty for all of us.

Its funny, I was just watching the big interview with Dan Rather and Bryan Adams was the guest. He mentioned his support of vets and wounded warriors. I heard the sample, sounds pretty good. Good luck with it. I used to have an itunes account, If you dont log in to it for a while your passwords disapears, then you have a hard time retreiving it.
Ive been locked out of itunes for over a year, probably longer. I used to have gift cards up the wazoo for it, but i mostly go on spotify for music now

Thanks for the input so far. For those of you who use spotify, the song is available there as well. It's available on most platforms. :-)
Perry Neal, thank you for your continued service to our country and those who serve it.
