Just spinning and turning with The Wheel. Remix of a track I recorded in April last year hope it takes you there.

Best,

Gerry

It's plain who has the reign in Spain!
Always fun to hear what the mad scientist has come with, and, (as usual) it's another interesting piece. Always like the tones/sound/mix you deliver.
Maybe it's just me, but the bass volume seems a a touch high. It struck me as a soundtrack to some late sixties movie-go figure!
Good stuff, and a pleasure to hear!
Best

What a way to start my Sunday Morning:

I can think of a dozen movie scenarios where "The Wheel" would work perfectly. Yeah, Gerry... it "takes me there"... and then some. Remarkably well done. Enjoyed it... and I admire your work.

All the best, ----Dave

Hi Mike, you could well be right on the bass being a little high my friend. My hearing has been shot for a long time and at the tender age of 73 it doesn't get much better LOL I'm surprised its even listenable. I was going to say the late 60's was before my time but I can't now. Take care and thanks as always for your ears.

Thanks so much Dave for the kind words it would be fabulous if someone picked this one up for a movie or TV series. Hope reigns eternal :-) just as well I make music for the pure fun of it.

Great feel to this, Gerry. An undercurrent of late night danger. Of course, I'm listening in the morning but it still takes me there. smile Nice work.

Very nice.

Am watching a series right now on Prime Video called "Sneaky Pete." This would be perfect background music.
Like Eddie, I also really enjoyed the bass.

Many thanks Eddie one for the road with the wind in your hair, of only I had any left :-). Thanks for the listen and kind words.

Thanks Martin, regarding the bass I think much depends on what speakers or headphones you listen on. As I said on a previous post my old ears are shot and I shouldn't be mixing at all LOL. My studio monitors-speakers are very neutral but I expect others could boost or reduce the bass. (I use Yamaha HS80M's. Glad it works for you.

Back for another listen, Gerry:

I can appreciate your statement about "for the fun of it"... but would argue that your compositions are worthy (if not better than most) of hearing and being enjoyed. The hard part comes in knowing how and where (or whom) to pitch them. I hope you are actively going in that direction... provided you don't allow it to interfere with your creative side.

Making and marketing great music is not for the faint of heart.

Thanks for sharing and best of luck in all you do. ----Dave

Gerry,

Very slick production, terrific listen. Martin has the right of it--this would make a great soundtrack for a TV show or film. Lot of nuanced transitions, too, to help keep the listener engaged. Well done!

Kind regards,

Deej

Thank you Dave I thought hard about your comments and would plead guilty to being an absolute zero in promoting and pitching my work. I guess a series of let downs and under achieved expectations finally numbed me into not throwing any more cash at possible leads and opportunities including signed agreements with publishers that lead to nothing. I have a dear friend in the USA who is currently trying to place some of my music but suffice to say I remain making music for the pure joy of doing so. Possibly a major flaw in my character but ambition and old age appear to be strange bed partners.
