My younger son and girlfriend just arrived in Nashville. Two days ago they were inside the White House. Yeah, he's a traveler. We're babysitting all his critters. John

They're going to the Grand Ole Opry tomorrow night. At the Johnny Cash & Patsy Kline museum this morning. Said he spent hours in there. Two days ago they were in the White House and the Holocaust Memorial Museum. John

Nashville and it's surrounding metro area is a pleasant experience and I really enjoyed my five years up there. Living in Brentwood was a long commute but I got to rub elbows with lots of big names. Many are retired now and I suspect they were glad to be getting out of a changing industry that still can't spell "COUNTRY!" I have not had to opportunity to return and hear that everything has really changed. It's on my bucket list. The people there reminded me a great deal of the folks in Fort Worth.
I hope your son enjoyed his visit. ----Dave

How fun! I remember my first visits to both! Oh to be young again. There's so much to do and see in every state in the USA that people ignore daily. I LOVED seeing nearly all of it over the past 3.5 decades. I really want to get back out on the road, in part to see some of you folks in your native environments. What State do you live in John? I can't recall.
