Latest from me. I'm not sure what genre this comes under. Every time I choose a genre, somebody says different. Pop ballad, maybe?
Comments welcome.

Hi Vic:

Genre wise... it feels somewhere between Folk and Country. Really enjoyed my listen. Well done.

Hi Vic

That is a fine pop love ballad to my ears but would be comfortable for a country artist too. Really evocative lyrics. You've created a nice arrangement. Your voice sounds good, and the harmonies in the chorus really step it up.

Nice work Vic! I get a Bob Dylan feel to this, and that lyric is fire. Kudos on a job well done

Very nice song Vic. Well played and produced. Perhaps go up in key for the last chorus to really build the dynamics. Very nice song.

Hey Vic,

Like I said in the other forum, sweet song, well written/performed. I could see Tom Petty doing this'n......well when he was around. I like the slow tempo, yet there's a feeling of "power" behind the music.

Genre? Maybe 60s pop ballad meets folk?
Nice sound though, a bit different from your usual leanings Vic but it works

Real smooth, great feel Vic. I'd say it's a good contender for the death metal sea shanty genre... smile

Yes, they don't make the death metal sea shanties like they used to anymore.

Those rhymes grabbed me from the get go.

We enjoyed the lyric, the vocal, the arrangement and the mix...all of it.

Nice!

I appreciate that you like the lyric. Lyric is my favourite part.
