https://www.reverbnation.com/banzaiwag/song/29668366-what-price-for-thingsBanzaiWag What Price For Things written by Marc Vernon vocals...malin and vernon music production...malin and vernon by way of...Reaper DAW instrumentation: bass, Martin 12-string, franciscan acoustic, Fender strat, Zebra 2 synth., Easy Drummer. Here I would like to congratulate my little brother for the wonderful, heart-warming epic masterpiece, "What Price For Things"! Yes...it took a bit longer (about 5 weeks) from start to finish and release, but WOW! And the WOW! originates from our operational concept to always bring something creative and amazing and different to the community upon release. And that, vernon, you have done in spades. So now, we will step aside and hopefully get YOUR opinion... malin What Price For Things We spend half of our day working... Eight hours sleeping... Four hours with our things and family Did the indians have it right... Spending their time in the mountains... In the desert. On the plains... In the quiet of nature To hear their heart. To hear their soul. Why should it be One way or the other What price to pay For the things we have? Why should it be One way or the other What price to pay For the things...? To know the things that are there to be known Time well spent surrounding themselves With life. Life instead of things. Giving and recieving from the Earth. Why should it be one way or the other? What price to pay for the things we have? Why should it be one way or the other? What price to pay for the things we have? We have... Have you ever felt the calming Healing quality of the ocean Or mountain stream? A waterfall or spring rainfall? Or a walk among the pine trees? Is that what's missing? Is that what's missing? Is that's what missing? We spend half of our day working. Eight hours sleeping. Four hours with our friends and family... Why should it be one way or the other? What price to pay for the things we have?

Hi Malin For some unknown reason i expected country but was pleasantly surprised to find it was otherwise. I enjoyed the lyric read through and later the full song. Well done to all who got this to it's completion. Great song allround Travis

Stunning. You two have achieved a very modern sound w/o the excesses - or at least what we perceive as excesses in some modern music The backing tracks work well with the contemplative lyric and heartfelt vocal. And on our monitors it sounds like you have the DAW thing going. The mix presents a well thought out soundstage. Everything has its place yet works with the entire mix. I hope you guys submit to the music libraries because this sounds very cinematic. Very much in the groove of songs that Songtradr often features. Well done! J&B

J & B !!!
Thanks you guys sooo much for paying attention to us and always building us up. We will have a look at Songtrader...and yes we operate on Reaper and still have a ways to go in the "understanding all the tech" department. Again...thank you from the bottom of our hearts!!

Hey, Rick!
Thank you. Everyone that has heard it thinks some version of that same thing. The Indians are very practical people and in many ways, we, who took it from them, are not. Vernon simply wanted to express this idea. When I first read the lyrics I thought they were all over the place. But they haunted me, and eventually I had to make music around them. Glad I did. And glad you listened, my friend...
malin (and vernon will get in here eventually as well)
