Hello All,
My name is Deacon, and I am new here though I have been lurking as a visitor for some time. I write both lyrics and music and I play guitar, not as a professional musician, but just to get the song melody and lyrics across for the listeners, I can also do a little keyboard work, and bass guitar. I have done some collaborations with other writers, and enjoy working with other writers. Look forward seeing you all in the forums. Good luck and best wishes to all,
Speak soon,

Hi Deacon:
Glad you've joined JPF. I suspect you already enjoy it here after observing all the antics going on in our many forums. Our family has deep roots in East and Middle Tennessee. Roane, Sevier then Giles Counties after Virginia and North Carolina. Looking forward to hearing some of your work. ----Dave

Hello Dave,
Thank you, and yes I have already been enjoying myself. I have been lurking as a guest off and on for the past few years and I am somewhat familiar with the "usual suspects". Seems everyone here is pretty close and friendly. I am just on the outskirts of the counties you mention, about 2 hrs. from Nashville, 1 hr. from Knoxville, and 1 hr. from Chattanooga, love it here. Look forward to seeing you on the forums, best wishes,
Speak soon,
P.S. Hope you don't mind my asking but, are you anywhere near Houston, I have some friends in that area that I sometimes do some co-writing with, just curious.

Hi "Deke:"
No, I don't mind you asking... I now live in Scenic little Glen Rose about 60 Miles SW of Ft. Worth but am originally from Texarkana. I also lived and worked in Nashville many moons ago. Loved it up there. We do have some great writers from the Houston area... but I'd better let them make their own introductions.
Be seeing you around... and again, Welcome!
----Dave
