If I had a HeartJust a quick write, and music I had laying around, lyric is not always the best but always " impeccable vocals and music production from Mike Zaneski.. If I had a Heart If it were up to me.. there would never be lonely. capturing hearts, well...its never easy. sometimes We think the impossible stories. There is a chance ... this story... can come true.... Chorus: If I had a heart... and it was ...the last minute in this world ..that I ever knew... I`d want a heart in my life...like you. If there were fancy cars, and lots of money. If I could travel the world, and never worry. They say through thick and thin if you are always together. the rest of this world makes no difference at all.... Chorus: If I had a heart... and if it was...the last minute in this world ..that I ever knew... I`d want a heart in my life...like you. bridge: one real chance is all we`ll get and on nights like this ..I wish....I wish. Chorus:2 I want a heart... and if it was...the last minute in this world ..I ever knew... I `d want a heart in my life...like you. ... in my life...like you. ... © Copyright 2017 Vincent. Lane,
A really cool song. Man! they don't make 'em like this anymore...
Made me think of Jack Jones - which I can honestly say I have not thought of for decades... Vic Damone. Mel Torme...
Mike did a super job.
An EXCELENT listen.

Hi Floyd, I was thinking of the 70`s 80`s when people were far more tangible, I could walk into almost any nightclub in Vegas and here something like this. I didn`t have a song like this. I told Mike and He did this for me. thanks so much for commenting and giving this a listen, I`ve seen everyone you mention up close..far different days then than now...Vincent

Cool song. I could hear where this song could work as a jazz standard.
I thought the lyrics were fine. The performance, arrangement, and production are all excellent.
The only thing you might want to consider is to pick up the tempo slightly (~10BPM).
Really well done.
Peace, TC

Lane and Mike,
Cool, smoky, slick throwback—where’s my cigar and brandy?
All the best,

This one takes me back to the 50's and forward a bit... when music was real music, Lane:
Gee whiz... it's wonderful to be "Zaneskified" so early in the morning. Great write... great melody... and the production and vocal are to die for! Enjoyed this a ton, guys. Thanks, ----Dave

Nicely done! I love the chorus. It reminds me of early Beatles or maybe something Johnny Mathis might have done.

Lane,
This song takes me back to the late 60's for sure--yeah, I'm that old! This guy you mentioned Mike Z...............sounds familiar, we could use a guy like that around here a little more! (are you reading this MZ)
Lane, you should be proud, this is an EXCELLENT write--Johnny Mathis could have made this a #1--you know what, what goes around comes around------so maybe!

It always amazes me how no matter the genre, Michael nails it. The song sounds like a classic. Lyric fits vibe perfectly. Perfect mesh of lyric and music. Not a single complaint from me. Great job.

Wow! It's great to hear a production like this.
Literally an instant classic.
A perfect vehicle for the perfectly upfront vocal.
Most enjoyable!

Yes, sounds like one of those Johnny Mathis songs to me. It has that 50's 60's sound too. Nice lyrics.
