That reminds me a bit of Van's Have I told You Lately. Maybe Some of Lennons solo stuff
I kind of like the understated uncontrived sentiment

Hi David:
I enjoy reading the lyric as I listen and used SoundCloud because it is less disruptive than most music "platforms." I get the "live audience" thing. It is a beautiful lyric and I hope you will find time to get back in that studio, lower the key a bit and croon into that Mic as though you were making love. I don't mean this as criticism... far from it... 'cause I know the bones of a good song when I hear one. (Too bad I never figured out how to create and record one... LOL!)
Thanks for sharing, my friend... and please do this for me. ----Dave

Thanks Fdemetrio. That reference to Van Morrison's song made my year--not that it has been long year so far :)--because he is one of my very favorite artists.
As an FYI, "Beautiful Vision" is one of my favorite albums of all time, closely followed by Astral Weeks and Tupelo Honey.
Thanks so much for the kind comment. That is a huge compliment.
Thanks man.

Thanks Dave! I will take that as a compliment! Well, I have started a new policy for 2018. If people are requesting songs in specific keys, I will redo them for a very small fee of only $3,500. I accept PayPal, most major credit cards, and a certified check. Let me know if you need my address so you can send that check overnight. But seriously, thanks man and I will certainly give that some thought. Thanks for the feedback!!!!

David,
I really liked this tune—well written, well produced—and I was digging your vocal a whole ton on this one. Lots of pull on that sound. Very strong offering in every way. I’m not sure I’m sold on the spoken intro—“gotta sing a song about my girl/ need some help on this one”—might work better in a live environment, but I’d rather you dive right into this lovely song. Just my humble and amateur opinion for what it’s worth. But that aside, smooth, cool, impressive cut. Well done, friend.
Admirable regards,
Deej

Super.
If you threw Stevie Wonder, Paul McCartney, Sting and David Snyder in a big bag, rolled it around a bit and then dumped it out, you might get this...
Excellent write. Cool Ooohhhs...

Thanks Deej!! Yeah I could easily drop that spoken word intro. t was just feeling in a silly mood that day and that's why it is in there. If I decide to do something else with it, I will probably snip that part like you suggest. But hey! If you weren't crazy and oddball and silly you would never write a love song in the first place (or fall in love for that matter) so at least I got part of it right!! Thanks for listening.
