Thanks Dave. Jody should be the one to receive praise, I only asked for what I seek everyday, that is to get people to record my songs. I didn't really expect he would do it, especially where he is a songwriter himself and I am in completely different genres. There are still GOOD people in the world willing to help others without expecting something in return. Thanks Jody.

I suspect that he'll likely demonstrate that genres are only production... nearly any song can be any genre based on production.... So his version could be rock or pop or many other genres based on how he produces it. It could also be Gospel or Contemp Christian styles. He may pick one that is less religious, or perhaps he'll do his take on a very religious piece. I am really looking forward to it. Hopefully you'll be open minded to the result Ev. This could really illustrate to many what is possible if you collaborate with a talented musician/singer/producer like Jody.

Thanks Brian and Midnite. I must say I'm looking forward to what he can and will do. Jody, no pressure man, I'll just have two versions of the song, my style and your style. There are many ways to prepare potatoes, and many prefer them different ways, but the basic ingredient is still potato.LOL

I think it is just going to be acoustic guitar/vocal rather than a full production.

I did get the song from Everett. I've learned the chords. I've thought about the order of the song. I have the lyrics. What I need to find right now is some time. I just got stupid busy with multiple requests for tracks.

Just letting you know that I will get to it. It might be mid February before I can shoot a little video of me playing the song.
