Hi Ronnie:
Welcome to JPF. Enjoyed "Lonely Nights" and your vocalist did a great job on your song. Best of luck with it and I'm looking forward to hearing more of your work. ----Dave

Darcie was somthin' else. We live in a resort area where people literally come and go with the seasons. She's all gone now. There's more tunes on the way, some more with Darcie even. But these things must be done delicately.

Good introduction song, Ronnie. "Password to my heart" is a killer tune.

Good song and outstanding production.
First of all, let me say I was really impressed. You have some solid performances captured and a lot of energy and punch in the mix.
Loved the song, wasn't a big fan of the intro even though it was well performed. It just didn't quite seem to fit (even though I listened to the song twice and the intro like 6 times to see if it grew on me).
The production was ACES in every regard except clarity. I think dialing back the reverb a bit (or even just some EQing and shorter decay) would clean it up perfectly.
Really top notch!
Peace, TC

Aw you guys are too kind.
@TC - That's an old song from 2004. It's been reworked, intro shorter, better skills. I need to update the web site.
@Vicarn - Ya liked Password huh. well alright. :-)

Ronnie, Nice tight production. The singer reminded me of the immortal Karen Carpenter. Nicely done! Thanks for sharing. Paul

Excellent production Ronnie. I fanned you on Reverb. The production and even the vocals reminded me of Boston with a hint of Rush. Everything is very crisp, and separated. I saw you had a cool tape machine on your Reverb page. Are you recording onto tape? It has that rich analog feel. If you are NOT using tape, tell me what your channel strip is bro because I want to copy it. Great, rich, punch sound man. Super job on the acoustic panning as well.

Ronnie,
This song pulls you in right off with the intro and strong vocals coming out of the intro—and it keeps you involved thereon. I’m not sure I’m hearing and following the lyrics totally, but I’m not the kind that really think that matters so much if overall everything hangs together—and this one does, IMHO. That is, I’m bopping my head along with this tune, it sounds great, and I’d listen to it again. In my book, that makes it a really good song. Enjoyed it a lot!
All the best,
Deej

Oh No! It still showing? Nuts. :-) May I do need a cowboy hat. Are you recording onto tape? It has that rich analog feel. If you are NOT using tape, tell me what your channel strip is bro because I want to copy it. . No, that tape machine was a hissy-fit and I could never get the S/N down enough to use it -67db! It came from a radio station that went belly up here and well just photo bombed me! That was so long ago. 2004! I can assure you it was all ITB and old plugs even some DXers. That was my first ITB song after going virtual from ADAT / analog mixer land. I'll look into that for you if the old project version will even load.
