With The Gods Above
Roll up my sleeves and get to workin' I can't stop 'cause times a hurtin' My heart knows it'll all be worth it You'll feel it too for that i'm certain
A love like ours aint make-believin' It'll take a lifetime for it to please me You're the only touch that can appease me It's been said before love don't come easy
We have the power to make it happen Like lightnin' flashin' and thunder clappin' With the Gods above to grant our desire We can't lose what our hearts aspire
Free from freedom we walk the line There's no escaping from love this time For eternity i'm yours and you're mine Into the unknown the blind leading the blind
We have the power to make it happen Like lightnin' flashin' and thunder clappin' With the Gods above to grant our desire We can't lose what our hearts aspire

Hi Michael:
I don't visit the lyric boards too often but saw your "Title" and thought I'd better have a peek. Windows 10 is interfering with my typing, tracking my every move (bastards) so I'll do my best to make this brief. It's a really good lyric. I know you will have some "shoe-horning" to do when it gets "married to a melody" but dang, that is such a good start.
Before I forget, Happy Thanksgiving and Merry Christmas if we don't "cross paths" again between now and then.
All my best, ----Dave

Micheal,
Some really nice lines here and cohesive overall theme. Will look forward to what you do with it melodically.
All the best,
Deej
