Hi Barry:
If I had "connections" and could offer you a "publishing deal"... for this one, I would, my friend. Simple, effective, sweet, sad and yet full of hope. The musical break at about 2:08 was a nice touch and I always enjoy your vocals. Then the photos on the YouTube media were stunning. I'm guessing they are "stock" Public Domain shots but they certainly embellish the "package." (As you know, I always prefer to listen to a song in MP3, WAV or other format without distractions... but this was really good.) A couple of the landscape shots reminded me of one of my favorite artists, Grant Wood. I purchased a couple of his numbered prints from a little shop in Franklin, TN when I worked in Nashville.
Unfortunately, I have no connections. Does anybody in today's convoluted music world? Back to "Why?"... I believe this is one of my all-time favorites from your catalog. The child-like approach in the overall theme is effective and we can all relate to it. As a recording, it isn't perfect... but it doesn't have to be. (Few of us here at JPF ever get to that level... so don't take my remark as being "snarky." ) You got the point of the song across quite well and I wish you some serious success with it.
All the best, ----Dave

Thanks Dave for being a Fan. The only connections I have is one with God and maybe before I die he will help me. I'm broke and really could use a few bucks. I continue to use my talents to write interesting songs and my take on the world. Thanks again Dave and best to you and yours....
