You must consider the source of reports like that. Some people will say ANYTHING to sell you a report or get you to click on their site so they receive advertising payouts. In the long run, financials are driven by hard numbers of profitability, return on investment, etc. There are short term swings caused by bad news and panic, etc., but if the fundamentals are strong, the markets will reflect that.

I don't know a damn thing BUT you don't always have to be a Weather Man or Gal to know it's raining out or that trouble is brewing.
Trust me a whopper of a financial melt down is coming and some other major problems to our Electrical Grid from Hackers from all over. When that crap hits the fan the heroes become the Fisherman, Hunter, Builder, Farmer and Shaman and the Lawyers, Politicians and Wall Street cretins will be gone from the scene....Buy some seeds and canned goods and lots of water and get ready for the collapse.....Some think I'm nuts but I see this coming. Our entire country and military run from computers and the internet and we are NOT Secure and we are way behind in Defenses....ALSO we are really vulnerable to Drone Attacks anywhere in the country especially swarms of them. You can buy and arm these so easy so sell any drone stocks if you keep your stocks.....Learn survival skills....

Lots of discussions going on in this area.
Most of it centers on natural market cycles, blind exhuberation among investors, and the Trump wildcards that include trade protectionism, the breaking of international treaties, and North Korea.
In the past, things did not matter so much. But I am now at an age where "the long run" has a far shorter horizon...so at a certain point, I will have to fish or cut bait (wonderful newfoundland expression) and sell to hold enough cash so I can't do too much damage to myself.
Bottom line...yes, lots of talk. But you have to react according to your own personal best interests..
If writing ever becomes work I think I'm going to have to stop

There's no right or wrong from little guys like all of us. The market is 100% fraud (and we have a lot invested between stocks and retirement) but it's the only game in town. If the market crashes for real, the dollar will collapse, so even if you have taken it out of the market, it will likely be only worth a fraction of what it started as and that's the problem. We won't be alone, if that is any solace. The entire world's economy will collapse and as I have feared for a while now the only way out of that type of mass crash is a massive world war where the USA can keep Russia and China and their allies from taking over the markets and world currency. Europe will also be devastated and the EU (which is already coming apart at the seams anyway) will likely see an even worse crash of the value of the Euro. Only Switzerland, Norway and the UK who all use their own currency still, will be standing in the aftermath, but all 3 will be embroiled in whatever war they concoct. If they don't get in, they'll likely be looking down the barrel of a gun before it's over.
The USA and UK and France have been playing these games in a myriad of wars through history. Nearly all of them started after a massive False Flag attack setting up the scapegoat enemy to get the people back to work fighting and dying or building weapons of war. It looks awfully similar to that same type of thing coming back around. Now with the latest revelations of corruption and collusion between Obama, Clinton and Russia, we're likely to see more violent uprising from the hyper hard left fascists when their queen ends up in jail (or at least has to fight her way out of it in court) meanwhile the 20% of US Uranium they gave the Russians in exchange for endless bribes has apparently not been kept in the USA as agreed (NY TIMES reported this, not some right wing rag) and many think it has been going to Iran via Russia which would nicely serve as the pretext for war.
Let's all hope a LOT that the market reset is more mild than people fear, or we'll all have a lot more to be afraid of than our 401K's and stock investments.

Well, There is an old saying out there, DON'T COUNT YOUR CHICKENS BEFORE THEY HATCH. Uh, yes that's it. Don't jump off the deep end, Remember Aesops Fable of the couple that killed the Goose that laid the Golden Egg, Better yet, I'm from Missouri, you have to show me. So have a nice day now, and don't take any Wooden Nickles!
