please listen..... http://www.soundclick.com/bands/0/calvinstewartWrap Me Up © words and music by C. Stewart ( April 12, 2017 )
Wrap me up Wrap me up in bubble wrap, saddle up my goat
I saw a spark I heard a thud That's when I saw the color of blood Black metal bands With dead peoples hands Donated organs in a Tupperware bowl
So wrap me up In bubble wrap Saddle up my goat
I was dragged I was drugged Thank God, I didn't get plugged
Black metal bands With dead peoples hands Are pounding the darkness, into my soul
So wrap me up In bubble wrap Saddle up my goat
They think of me As background noise I feel like a Backstreet Boy
Black metal bands With dead peoples hands Donated organs in a Tupperware bowl
So wrap me up In bubble wrap Saddle up my goat
Wrap me up..........

Dark and funky, Calvin:
I can hear this as the lead-in to a murder mystery on TV or the big screen. You are one of the most original artist/writers here at JPF. Thanks for sharing. (Not sure I enjoyed but I appreciated the topic and theme.) LOL! ----Dave

I don't know if I've ever heard anything like this before. Refreshing to hear something so original. Strangely catchy in a hypnotic way. Love those noises you have going on in the background. One of my favorite listens here.

Hey buddy aren't you near Okeechobee? I heard they where evacuating the area.
Keep your head up and your wits about you and above all, STAY SAFE.

Hello MISTER NELSON, It's always nice to have you drop in, THANKS a lot for taking the time to listen. Yes, we're in Okeechobee, but OUR area doesn't have to evacuate. It's looking like a pretty scary situation, I'm prepared to saddle up my goat. Calvin http://www.soundclick.com/bands/0/calvinstewart

I thought from the title it was gonna be a mummy song and I wasn't too far off. I like the jazz chords of course, nicely done- the whole thing. My favorite lines were "donated organs in a tupperware bowl " (I'm donating MY organs and I don't care what they put them in, I just think I should get a WRITE OFF on my TAXES) . And "they think of me as background noise, I feel like a backstreet boy" ( at least the backstreet boys get paid for their misery. This music business is just an expensive hobby for ME!) . Okay, well, my other theory about this song is that it depicts some sick erotic ritual, something like Donald Trump's adventure at the Russian Cathouse. Well good luck with Irma la Douche, keep yer powder dry! Adios, --- Peter the So So -eh!~

Hi Calvin,
This is like some deviant trip-hop sound that maybe Beck would conjure up in The Residents' basement. Sample collage pop-art that is both outside AND fun.
Just the right amount of repitition and variation to keep it feeling fresh through several listens.
Great work!
Mike

Calvin, I'm not sure I totally get this one, but then again I'm not quite sure it matters--it all just works!!! The "wrap me up" refrain is catchy, the vocal is engaging, and the lyrics--unique, macabre, offbeat--in full, distinctively original. Cool listen!
Best regards,
Deej

Hey Calvin!
I may have said this a few years back, not sure. Before the hippie culture of the late 60's/70's........yeah, further back "Beat-nics." These guys would have made you a millionaire! You would have been an icon with your creative music for that 50's sub-culture.
