Thanks for posting this message John.
I've always been a fan of Glenn Campbell--such a great guitar talent and fabulous singer. He was a "rascal" at times, but a legend in his own time. He was revered by his peers so much, as they know how effortlessly he could play guitar riffs and a voice with a tone from heaven! Godspeed Glenn Campbell, you will now "find yourself" again! We will miss your presence, but your music will live forever--a fact!

Sad news, John:
I can't say it wasn't expected after he suffered from Alzheimers for so long... but he was a pretty unique guy from a small town in Southwestern Arkansas. He sure churned out a series of hit songs that crossed over between country, folk and pop.
May he rest in peace.

It was a blessing as he was completely incapable of knowing what was happening to him, who anyone was, who he was etc. Alzheimer's is an insipid disease that destroys you long before it kills you. It erases you which has to be the most cruel way to go for both the victim but even more so for the family.
