Nope, I'm not including lyrics this time around...you'll just have to listen to the story...or not. https://soundcloud.com/user-482925652/miss-december-68

I had to listen this one twice in order to get it's message. What I got out of it was that it refers to a Playboy magazine model from the month in question. Couldn't quite figure out if there was a relationship with this person; I concluded that it was just a fantasy of a relationship that never really occurred. Now to look up and see who the real Miss December 68 was. Peace.

Just learned that it was a Cynthia Myers. Good work beechnut79. I intentionally did not include her name for just that reason...good detective work. (by the way...somewhat true story even though my father doesn't remember having that magazine...yeah right)

steady-eddie. Thanks Eddie. Funny thing about those monthly surprises, my father never had another copy, at least not one I found. Thanks for the feedback.

Cute, James, an adolescent boy's fantasy in song (maybe not so adolescent) Nicely done, but it's really helpful to be able to read the lyrics for those of us with less than perfect hearing and a short attention span. Ricki

Ricki Thanks Ricki. I had to laugh about not including the lyrics and I must confess to the fact that this is one song that I never bothered to write down! True! I wrote it in my head, during a long commute to work. Then, later that week I headed to my brother's studio and said "wanna do something with this?". I should probably sit down one day and write it out....one day.

Deej Thanks Deej, much appreciated. I don't normally do that much production (almost none) but letting my brother loose in his studio was loads of fun.

Hi James:
Clever write on both sides of the ledger (music + words) and you described emerging from puberty so well. I did a "cover" of one of Joe Wrabek's songs and it reminds me a great deal of this one. (Joe is a talented member of JPF whose ribald writing is both humorous and semi-naughty at times.) I hope someday you two can exchange ideas 'cause you are both fantastic writers.
I've heard your work before and this one certainly reinforces my belief that you are a talent to be "reckoned with." Send more... and soon! Thanks for sharing and best of luck to you. ----Dave
