Time goes quick
In this town
When I came here
My hair was brown
My legs were strong
So was my will
Now I'm weak
I Got Old In Nashville

I wrote some songs
They went nowhere
Made some demos
Nobody cares
Dreaming the dream
I've had my fill
The years went by
I Got Old In Nashville

I wouldn't change it
Because of my son
He was born here
We've had fun

Time goes quick
In this town
When I came here
It was Waylon and Willie
Haggard and Jones
Conway Twitty
Now I'm old
I Got Old In Nashville

I believe youtube is our best bet. Youtube will be around a long time. Our songs will be heard after we're gone even if we never got paid for them.

I can relate to that song as well although I have never actually been in Nashville since we passed through there on our way to Florida when I was a kid. Will do the YouTube thing when and if I ever get the funding necessary to actually have videos made. As far as going about it, that's where I fully confess to having the "two left feet" syndrome.

Putting songs on youtube is tricky. My cousin in Louisville figured out how to do it and has been helping me. In fact, I'm driving up there tomorrow and we'll put on some more.

Hi

Your title caught my attention. I like the word pictures you use in the piece. I enjoy your use of glimpse of times in your life. Great piece.

Sincerely
