Hi all, now that the holidays (and thank goodness the in-laws are gone)I am getting around again. This is the 3rd song I have attempted vocals on, I'm doing a blues CD for fun. Thoughts and suggestion on anything very welcome. https://soundcloud.com/james-looknglass-tanner/ive-lost-my-mojoremixor here http://soundclick.com/share.cfm?id=13518965James Tanner – Vocals, Lyric Walter P. Owen, Clayton Chiesa – Lead Guitar Walter P. Owen – Music, Rhythm Guitar George Schiessl - Bass Clayton Chiesa – Piano Clayton Chiesa – Hammond B4 Clayton Chiesa - Horns Clayton Chiesa – Drums I’ve Lost My Mojo I used to have no problem, was a ladies man, They melted like putty, while eatin outta my hand They use to call me debonair, a real Don Juan; used to call me a charmer, but now the magic’s gone Where did it go I don’t know I’ve lost my mojo I’ve lost my mojo Where did it go I don’t know I’ve lost my mojo I’ve lost my mojo My face is pretty red, I’m still feelin the sting Didn’t see it coming, from that pretty little thing I gave my usual spiel, the smoothest lines I had All I got was cold-cocked, and a headache real bad Where did it go I don’t know I’ve lost my mojo I’ve lost my mojo It just goes to show Before you know You’ll lose your mojo I’ve lost my mojo I’ve lost my mojo I’ve lost my mojo 2016 © L. Classic stuff, James. Not sure the second line in Vs 1 is the best I've ever seen though. Does putty melt?
Keep up the good work.

Hi James:
Loved the song, your vocal and the backing. I believe you are getting your "sea legs" comfort zone with your "stage presence" and that is always a great thing.
Best of luck with this one... in one of my favorite genres.

Vic Hi Vic, thanks for the listen and comment. The melting like putty line, is a saying I've heard my grandpa and dad use all the time when talking about their womanizing days, I figured it was just an expression of being VERY hot to melt putty.

Nice blues tune, James. Your team did a fine job for you musically. Yeah, I can hear it live in a bar too. Well done. Say, if you're looking for your mojo, you might ask Mojo Mike where he got his... Ricki

Hey James......Great driving beat....Cool Vibe....Excellent Thank ya Bobby. I give the musicians all the credit, they made this shine. I don't sing on this, but maybe you could take a listen, it's more up your alley, and your thoughts/suggestions would be appreciated before we mark it finished. http://www.jpfolks.com/forum/ubbthreads.php/topics/1123094/wilted-rose.html#Post1123094
