This is what every guy should say to a woman who rejects him.
I've got to roll copyright 2001 Bob Whitlow
I'm looking at you, but you're looking down your nose I'm not your kind, I suppose I can take rejection from you well I'll go and find somebody else
(Chorus) You want the truth, I'll tell you lies You want my love, I will despise You want me to stay, then I will go Get out of my way, I've got to roll
I'm wound out, my throttle's stuck If I stop, then you're in luck If I leave the asphault and hit the trees Then you brought me to my knees If you're the fire, I'm the fuel If you burn me, then I'll be cruel
(Chorus)
All i ever wanted was your attention But I guess I failed in my intentions You can just go back to your snobby friends Go on, babe, I wish you well I hope you never see the end of Hell You think you're a 10, I won't call you an eight Look out now, I'm telling you straight
(Chorus x2)

Hi Cowboypete Welcome to JPF,this guy dosen't seem to handle rejection, well at all.IMO this singer has a heart full of contempt. Some of the folks in here will no doubt tell you to sing this from another persons viewpoint. As [he's looking at you,but your looking down your nose].I do think you have a good song idea though.Heck I scrapped the first two I put in here[lol].There seem to be a lot of good writers to learn from here, and no I'm not saying I'm one of them.Best of luck regards Cody.

Hey CP: Maybe that's what they SHOULD say, but it better not be what they actually say. Why? Because women buy the majority of CD's in country, and the insults in this one would be detrimental to sales... Some strained lines in here, as well. This verse, in particular: I'm wound out, my throttle's stuck If I stop, then you're in luck If I leave the asphault and hit the trees Then you brought me to my knees If you're the fire, I'm the fuel If you burn me, then I'll be cruel I'd find a better way to put this idea. /glen ------------------ "The process of learning is often more important than what is being learned" -----The Kat---- Glen King Music Domains For Sale. http://www.musicdomains.cc

It's hard to write love songs when you have no love.
