Its been a while... My mac took a dive over the summer and just got around to replacing it. Just before it took its last breath, I managed to save all my previously recorded material including this one that I had started working on just before it went. Funny, it was so new and it had been so long since I heard it that I hardly recognized it when I uncovered it today. It is still a little rough around the edges and in need of a lyric. I thought it might inspire me to finish it and start writing agin if iI posted it. Looking forward to catching up on the new jpg music! Tom Come Alive https://soundcloud.com/user-655800373/come-alive

Tom,
I agree, this has a lot of potential, love the changes in tempo / mood. What are you thinking about in terms of lyrics?

Music sounds good. Sounds like a 'love lost' kinda tune.
Unless I am mistaken the main acoustic sounds like it's recorded via a piezo pickup. The playing is solid but I would mic it for a more 'open' sound.
So far, so good! Post again when you have vocals on there, too.
Peace, TC

I enjoyed my listen, Tom. When you've put lyrics to it, be sure and post it again so we can see how far off we were with the story we put to it. Ricki

Enjoyable. Rich minor key feel. Got an Evanescence feeling from it when broke the 1st verse. The return recalled...long cool woman in a black dress. Looking forward to lyrics.

Hi Tom,
For me this has a "cinematic" quality. I actually like it as an instrumental, and think you could take this to the an even higher level with some full orchestration building as the song unfolds. I kind of get a James Bond vibe, yet nothing like any other Bond soundtracks, I think this could be one. Loved it!

Thank you to everyone who took time to listen and post comments! Sorry for what must seem like a hit and run post. Crazy busy lately but tuly do appreciate the feedback. I have a lyric nearly finished. Its pretty dark and takes a little unusual direction. might work, might not. Either way, I'm too old not to take a chance now and then!

Very nice. It does have a cinematic quality. Cannot wait to hear where you take it lyric wise.

I like the sound. I will be interested to see what you come up with. Sounds dramatic and will probably need a big voice.

Tom, Very nice! I was drawn in from the very first note. I'm hearing a female vocal on this. I look forward to hearing what you come up with when you get a lyric. Good work! Paul
