I wrote and first recorded this song in 2014. I recently recorded it again on my new recorder using more instruments and a more structured format. I gave the mixing my best shot but would like to hear what I could have done better. Any suggestions or comments are welcomed ... thanks, Jimmy. http://soundclick.com/share.cfm?id=13455168Let's get together go out dancing stay out all night long ... Let's get together do a little dancing come back home at dawn ... Come along with me now it's still early listen to a Bluegrass tune ... What a fun song, Jimmy! I've got nothing in the way of advice about production but I enjoyed my listen.

Jimmy,
Fun song! I Like the contrasting sound between banjo & guitar, nice bottom bass too.
I think your tambourine for this type of song could be a little more pronounced and not as distant, and let it crack on the back beat a bit. I'd even like hearing a wash board hit for a back beat along with the tambo. I can give you a real wash board track should you want one. IMO, the more accented percussion will give even more life to the song and better capture the listener.
Nice bluegrass melody, and song!
