I was having fun one night and uploaded this quick idea that Kjell accepted. It's got re-do's and work to go, and real backup coming (hopefully a better singer too). Had a few beers and made a tribute to my 93 year old mam'ma (Grandma in northern speak) Ruth. She can't cook anymore, but boy could she. Kjell Karlsson - Music Me - Lyric, Vocals https://soundcloud.com/james-looknglass-tanner/southern-breakfast-kjell-karlsson-music/s-w6sJVSouthern Breakfast Tennessee here I come I should make it there by dawn Mam'ma said; she'd have food a waitin and a pot of coffee on Her biscuits and gravy, are pure heaven to me, not to mention, the hot grits, hash browns, eggs over easy She's the queen of the southern breakfast the hollers Rachael Ray, but in her southern way That mornin masterpiece, that's waitin for me Has made my stomach start to growl My taste buds scream at me, yellin that their hungry They want some southern breakfast now Indiana's far behind me Maybe I'll go back someday I highly doubt it. no doubt about it the south cooks things my mam-ma's way Her biscuits and gravy, are pure heaven to me, not to mention, the hot grits, hash browns, eggs over easy She's the queen of the southern breakfast the hollers Rachael Ray, but better in her southern way That mornin masterpiece, that's waitin for me Has made my stomach start to growl My taste buds scream at me, yellin that their hungry They want some southern breakfast now Steppin on the front porch the scent reaches me I know behind that door, there's biscuits and gravy ,and eggs over easy Mam'ma hugs me and fills up my plate It's as I recall, the best thing I've ever ate I love her southern breakfast © L. Hi James, The reverb makes it hard to make out too much of the lyric. Maybe try a mix with a more upfront vocal. But I love this lyric; it's got a Greg Brown down-home-ness to it, reminding me a little of his classic "Canned Goods." This is a really a fun song, well put together and with great potential. Mike

Fate doesn't hang on a wrong or right choice Fortune depends on the tone of your voice
