Co-write I did with a very talented guitar player a couple of years ago-that I am just now starting to pitch to publishers.music libraries etc etc....My lyrics-Ed Kihm's music and vocals......Kind of a American blues thing about husbands and wives having a quickie in their busy/frantic lives-lol... Hope you like it and if not feel free to tell me why of course. TOP SONG ON MY REVERBNATION PAGE https://www.reverbnation.com/writertomyeagerandfriends

Will put it on Soundclick once I get the mp3 from my co-writer-which was lost in either a hard drive crash or getting a new computer....

Thanks John!
Your opinion means alot to me
Gonna submit it to my publisher-though she doesnt get alot of requests for Blues Music-she said she would give it a listen just the same
Best of luck to you as well-in all things-not just music!

A mighty fine blues tune! Got that solid texas sound. Good "happy" blues lyrics too. I'll have to spend more time over here instead of over there -- ha, ha. I am doing 50/90 (although I have take 3 weeks off now). I do a lot of commenting over at 50/90 so not too much time here until 50/90 is over.
Good one!

Thanks Ricki Ed KIHM is an amazing talent that I was fortunate to meet as we are in the same catalog-IndigiMusic. I was indeed very lucky to get him come in on this for the guitar and vocals.... HE hails from PA and he is so good at so many things that I will just give yall a link to a webpage of links for him and you can see for yourself Guitar composer/Guitar instructor/Producer etc etc.... He is also an absolute obsessive professional-i thought he did an incredible job on this wav-told him I thought it was pitch-worthy right now....But our publisher happens to prefer mp3s for sending out to music directors so he is gonna remix his vocals and then send me the mp3......Feel free to contact him and drop my name for anything you might need or want...... https://www.google.com/webhp?source...;ion=1&espv=2&ie=UTF-8#q=ED+KIHM

IndigiMusic passed on it cause they were honest enough to say blues music isnt their bread and butter......Cool-no problem......They agreed it was indeed one smokin hot blues song but they would not be a good placement for it
Now I begin to get absolutely positively relentless with this thing.........Sending out REQUESTS TO SUBMIT etc etc phone calls/emails-whatever it takes
Also pitching Shenandoah River-a co-write with Moker Jarrett as well......Gonna be a busy boy.......

Hey Tom, Yep that's a solid blues write. It needs to be in a smoky bar just before the patrons start to get rowdy. I'm thinking Texas blues, but it also has a some Chicago elements in there as well. Mind you, when a bloke comes from "Virtginia" you never know just where he's been. cheers, niteshift

As we know-writing and recording is the fun part-its all the crap ya gotta do afterward thats so damn dreary.......The pitching and bowing to THE WHITE ROBES-would you please listen to this your highness that i may someday rocket into the middle class....lol.....

It definitely helps alot to be able to cite 8 years in Nashville and being in a catalog and some selective name dropping and all the other stuff I earned with blood sweat and tears....Plus I want to make it big in order to call all the women who told me call me when you make it......YEPPER HONEY-be sure NEVER to turn your cell phone off-cause you will be the first one i call when the money is in the bank.Lol

To this day I wake up surprised that I have furniture in my place......
Flashbacks from the time I sold all my furniture-including my tv-to finance my half of a song demo......Yeah baby we ARE ALL OVERNIGHT SUCCESSES.......

Hard to go wrong with the two of us when it comes to the blues.
If we heard that coming out of a club we'd head right in.
Enjoyed it!

So glad you both enjoyed it-Janice& Bud
You saying it would draw you into a club just made my day!
I have of course been passing on all these compliments to my co-writer Ed Kihm-telling him he has alot of new fans.....I used to go down to a couple of blues clubs in what they call Printers Alley when I lived in Nashville and then of course there was BB Kings club on ummm 2nd Avenue I think it was....Ed did a smokin good job on the guitar work-as you heard and a damn good job on the vocals considering he is a white guy-lol......He will laugh and tell ya the same thing........It was a really enjoyable project...Maybe the most fun was blowing the wig right off my publishers head(so to speak) when I sent it to her....I really got her good! She was apparently beet red and laughing like Hell when she said she had to take a pass on it cause she doesnt get much call for blues music...I really flipped her out so that alone was worth it-lol........
