Hi John,
I thought of the "Theme from Love Story," as yours and Lai's piece both start in the same place, but his melody never dares to weave in and out of the broken minor chords like yours does.
As sadly beautiful as it gets..
Mike

Morning, John:
One of your best. I'll bet this one will be scooped up soon for a love-story-like movie. Really nice work.
Enjoyed, ----Dave

Nice John. Very contemplative, moody. I also like the "Breakfast At Tiffany's" pic.

Bob

Mike Thanks Mike! Yeah, didn't think of the "Love Story" start-up. Best, John

Regards,
Bob Thanks Bob! "Breakfast at Tiffany's" is one of my favorites. Funny, I recommended that movie to a young local guy. He told me the next day it was terrible. Said he had to shut it off after the first 15 minutes. So much for his attention span. I reckon if a film isn’t constantly bombarded with hits, effects, and people being mutilated it doesn’t pass the mustard in today’s film market. Best, John

John, Sadly, you're right. The same people who've never seen the classic films have never seen La bohème or heard the Moonlight Sonata. No flash, bang, chop or nudity. You can't force-feed people culture. They have to want to experience it. That's why I'm glad there are folks like you, keeping the romance alive! Regards, Bob

"You can't force-feed people culture. They have to want to experience it. That's why I'm glad there are folks like you, keeping the romance alive!" Yep. And this song is from the heart, indeed. Lovely and (to steal Mike's comment) "sadly beautiful." After Janice heard this I imagine we are in for a spate of romantic movies J&B

Very nice as usual. I hope there is still a movie or TV show with enough class to need a piece like that one.
