Hi, I wrote this a while ago. An upbeat song about the summer. Comments welcome and thank you kindly for the listen, Stan. https://soundcloud.com/songwriterstan/summer-sun-loveA quarter of Miller a bottle of southern Shrimps in the water boil baby burn The ocean's in motion the bodies in lotion And the girls in bikinis I rate them all ten I said the hell with the pale faced surgeons warning Soak me with ultra violet all morning Summer sun love Under the boardwalk behind a sand dune Lovers and friends silhouette under the moon The sand on the sole makes my body feel whole And a summer romance brings a hypnotic trance I said the hell with Atlanta’s viral warning Awake with a perfect ten each morning Summer sun love Sun rise in the Atlantic sky Early morning glorify Pale white cocoon to tan butterfly Sun set on the Pacific blue Raining colors what a view The music of a sea wave symphony A plane flying high writing words in the sky Salute the sun to read the message in the sky The pilot will reach thousand down on the beach Hear a deafening crowd shout the message out loud It says the hell with the winters cold depression Ninety degrees is my obsession Summer sun love

A little bit of The Ventures, a little bit Buddy Holly. Can't be bad. Cool tune and vocal performance, Stan.

Hi Stan, Great lead vocals! The music reminds me of of "Summertime Blues" and "Mony Mony," --it's a nice late fifties/early sixties sound for sure, though the recording itself seems a bit boomy on the low end, and the drums seem to fall apart for a moment around the two minute mark, I found enough here to really enjoy it. Steve That pretty much nailed the groove. And like Mike alluded to eq some of the lower end mud out and give it a little sparkle - make it shine! Enjoyed the spin.... J&B
