A couple were too hard to listen to, but what imaginative videos! Such a feast for the eyes. Thanks for sharing!

These were all great videos. Visuals were outstanding on a few of them. Makes me want to try and interpret a couple of my own tunes. Someday, I hope.

Anyone do this? Make interpretive videos of their music. I am interested in trying this out and was wondering what tools people use.

Yeah, I've done it. I use Windows Movie Maker, which is a pretty limited program (but I've learned to work within its limitations). The Bay City Arts Center (I'm on their Board) has Final Cut Express, which is a much more sophisticated program, but I tend to default to Windows Movie Maker anyway. I starting to work with Moviemaker myself Joe...any hints, creative and otherwise? How do you convert to MP4?
If writing ever becomes work I think I'm going to have to stop

John, I use a programme called Pinnacle 12. When you've edited the clips you can save it in various formats including mp4. Not sure what Moviemaker does.

John, I have a conversion program--and I can't tell you offhand which one it is. I got several, in my efforts (unsuccessful) to convert Apple *.mov files to something Windows Movie Maker could process.

My daughter uses Sony Vegas to do some video montages but I have never used it. I may have to bug her when she comes home for the holidays. It looks expensive so I am not sure what version she uses. I played around with a free program called Blender this past week to learn how to render some graphics. Very cool but a bit of a learning curve to say the least. Maybe Santa will bring me a video production suite and a crew to run it for Christmas

I took a media studies course using adobe. One of the assignments was doing a montage to the 50th anniversary of Motown with video and voice over. I used a program off of the cloud called adobe elements and it turned out pretty good. I am just trying to learn video photography as well.
But much seems to be able to be done with little technology and some basic knowledge that would have taken a lot of money and big sets years ago.

But much seems to be able to be done with little technology and some basic knowledge that would have taken a lot of money and big sets years ago. I've never played around with Adobe Elements but it is supposed to be a powerful tool for photo/video editing. Years ago I used Photoshop to do some pic editing but now I just use GIMP which is free. It does all the same stuff but I don't like the GUI quite as much. Did I mention it was free? That is the best feature. I guess the best way to get my feet wet would be to just do a slideshow kinda thing with the audio embedded in it. Did Adobe Elements allow you to combine the audio/video/images all together or did you use that for the video/pics and add the audio another way?

Found the first one quite enjoyable... reminds me of an Armenian JPF member's music. Haven't got time for the rest, but will likely check them out when I can.
