I was lucky enough to go to Havana a few years ago and it's some place to visit.I feel like you do Gerry that it's soon to be spoilt by the intrusion of big business. Enjoyed your tribute it was a good song with plenty of that Havana Club atmosphere Travis

I don't usually critique instrumentals but I just had to tell you I LOVED the slide guitar in this - really cool.
Really well done performance and recording. Nice sense of space.
This tune would have been stellar if there would have been a section where it really kicked into gear. The laid back atmosphere is really well done but that variation would have added a dimension that would have put it over the top. I wasn't crazy about the sound you used for acoustic (?) guitar but other than that great sound palete.
Overall, excellent tune and recording.
Peace, TC

Having never been to Havana, the music really lit my imagination Gerry. I enjoyed the listen, but agree with TC, it would have been nice to have a section where it stepped up the pace. Thanks for sharing!

Peace, TC Good call TC I may well see if I can do as you suggest. My problem is I am getting so lay back I am close to falling over most of the time. Best Gerry

I like this a lot, Gerry. When I saw the title, I was expecting some hot salsa dance music but the slower, steamier feel is nice as well. Mellow!

Gerry,
You set a very cool mood here. I have never been to Havana but your song had the imagery I would have expected. Relaxing but there is an uneasy undertone. As if maybe you better look over your shoulder. Great performance!

Great stuff! This didn't sound like I expected it to, but still really enjoyed the listen. Awesome slide guitar work, that really made the whole song for me. I liked that there were a number of different components that came in at different times, keeping it fresh and interesting. Good luck with this!
