Here's one I wrote for Polly's band Rock Candy, only this one's the homegrown version sung by Lucy Kaufman. Hi Mark,
Very cool! So many hooks, those vocals up there in "The Sweet" territory. The guitar/bass hook that opens is classic sounding. And I love how you stack the guitar, then the vocal around the same idea.
This has great energy and sounds full despite being rather spare in instrumentation. I think it's cuz all the performances are dazzling.
It's a great mixture of Glam and Prog and Led Zep, among other things. Love the breakdown, love the song.
Mike

Cool tune -- mighty fine vocal performance. Glad to hear you are keeping the family involved. Yes, very good instrumentation and the harmonies topped it all off. Way to go!
Hmmm, copyrighted in 1015 -- you all must be a vampire family!

Mark, good to know you're still putting high quality music out there and that your girl(s) are into it as well. By the way, did you catch any episodes of Sex and Drugs and Rock and Roll? Ricki

Edited by Michael Zaneski (November 03, 2015 12:09 PM) Thanks Michael! It was sort of a challenge to keep things down to three instruments so a band could play it. Thanks for the listen!

I probably won't be able to collect anymore from that old copyright, dammit! Thanks Kevin! Cool tune -- mighty fine vocal performance. Glad to hear you are keeping the family involved. Yes, very good instrumentation and the harmonies topped it all off. Way to go!
