http://soundclick.com/share.cfm?id=13122225 Too Damn Hard To Forget (Cotton, Cantwell, Buckner) When my buddies phone me I say that I’m alright 'Cept for when I’m not which happens every night She’s been gone 3 months only memories are left ‘Cept her cold pillow on her side of our bed She’s too easy to remember but too damn hard to forget Decorated every room right down to this pink phone She was the best she made these walls a home I may never know what went thru her mind How she could love me but leave that love behind She’s too easy to remember but too damn hard to forget Bridge Wish I had of listened, when she talked about her dreams I just found a stash, of travel magazines She’s too easy to remember but too damn hard to forget I know I should be over her but it ain’t happened yet She’s too easy to remember but too damn hard to forget

Hey Neil. Great lyric and melody but to my ears the music doesn't fit it well.

Yes the music is probably too cluttered... Is the Blues genre working?

I don't think the bluesy sound is the way to go for this one. Traditional country would be better I think.

Ok I'll see what can be done. I've uploaded a slow modified form.

Hey Neal...nice bluesy vibe is appealing to the ears. Liked it! Not a fan of your bridge however. Didn't care for the travel magazines line. A suggestion is to maybe say something about how her dreams no longer include me, or something to that affect. Overall, a nice listen though. -TK
