I already posted the link in the mp3 forum, so I won't spam you all here, but I just wanted to state that I think the last (2) song(s) that I recorded -- 1 of which is done and posted -- are the best things that I've ever done!
That is all.

The other one was posted, too. But that was a couple of weeks ago, now. Still… worth noting. At least for me.

As to your questions: I have a 9-5 desk job as a catalog writer to pay the bills. I play the occasional show, but don't have the resources to really invest into playing a whole lot more. Just playing a bit and recording when I can… releasing each song as I go. The band: I guess they're "my" band. Dave, the drummer has been playing with me for about 20 years now. The bass player, Steve, is an old friend of his (and now a friend of mine), who plays in too many projects to really commit to being a member of my band, but he is always game to record with me when he can. The other guitar player, Chuck, is another friend of Dave's and Steve's, who played with me for the first time on these songs. (He played the solo on "We Made It To the Middle" and I played the solo on "Break My Heart.") So yeah, not working it nearly as hard as some of the folks here, but when I do work it, I do work it as hard as I can.

And, I should say that I dig your song. Your voice reminds me a bit of Leonard Cohen's, with that raggedy baritone. I like it!

I like "make it to the middle" best. I like the emotion in it, something sadly lacking in a lot of songs.

Thank YOU for listening, Bob! Glad that I could surprise you a bit. And now I have to ask: what were you expecting from me?

"If one man can do it, any man can do it. It is true. But the real question is, if one man did it, are you willing to do what it takes to do it as well?" –Brian Austin Whitney
