An empty bottle and a HOT jukebox v Smoking gun would hail the end it'd be over no more pretend She ain't worth wasting a shot stick with this bottle, a hot jukebox c You feel like you're dying from all that drinking, and crying Those old songs you both listened too are aimed right to the heart of you v Songs that you' think you've forgot you can bet old Wurlitzer's not Can remember she once cared a lot you're left with a bottle, a hot jukebox c You feel like you're dying from all that drinking, and crying Those old songs you both listened too are aimed right to the heart of you b Midnight and you ain't gonna win so you walk over put coins in play that special song all over again
v1 repeated Smoking gun means the end it's final there's no pretend But there's something that hurts a lot an empty bottle and a hot jukebox

Man, that song has "country" written all over it. Why do we songwriters like to suffer so much?
