Thanks to all of you who took the time to listen and comment on our tunes in 2014. I dunno about you but I get irritated by all the prescription drug ads on tv with their never ending list of side effects....and that inspired me to write this little eight bar blues ditty for Janice to do her vocal thing with. And as usual we're just having some recording fun - no pitching, etc., just hoping folks will take the time to listen. We welcome comments! Tom Adams ( www.tommyadamsmusic.com) plays lead guitar. Side effects aren't really side effects.
The body doesn't recognize it and desperately tries to get rid of it by your bowels, urine, throwing up, a rash etc. etc.
I was diagnosed with Non Hodgkin's Lymphoma 16 months ago and decided NOT to take treatments....I became a Vegan and take certain supplements and green drinks.
BUT....I'm on a Cancer Support Group called What's Next and have heard Horrendous Side Effects from Chemo and Radiation that I never heard before. They are using Poison from WW1 and it is HORRENDOUS....It's a great site though....Chris Beat Cancer is a Nutritional Site.
ANYWAY....All meds just treat symptoms and NONE get to correct the problem. WE and our Immunes System are our only hope.
I watch these TV Commercials about having an erection for more than 3 hours and you either have to laugh or cry.....It's just awful but MOST People WILL NOT take their Health into their own hands.
I have a cool song called DONUTS DON'T GROW ON TREES...about food and good health....barrydbutler channel on youtube.

Man old school for sure. Loved the vocals, loved the guitar, loved the song. Needs something though to break up all the verses. The instrumental break was too similar.

Super work and the vocal "brings it" for me. This is a memorable song and deserves air play and all the good things that are supposed to come with it. Super song! Enjoyed a ton!

Really Nice tune. I like the placement of the hook, in an a typical spot.
One thing I think it cries for is another section.
You got an AAAA format. I think it be more interesting with an AABA structure, then coming out of the B section with that solo,which I like/
Since it doesn't have a chorus, it might need a new section, but I enjoyed it as is.

I guess by definition an 8 bar blues is this structure, ie., multiple 8 bar verses and solos. There are quite a few classic blues done in this format and that's what we were shooting for....but it is for sure a very old school structure.
