I'm headed out today to settle in and get ready for a great weekend of music in the beautiful spring weather, so this will be your only reminder as there is no WiFi out in the wonderful middle of nowhere at the Sertoma Youth Ranch. So, come on out and join us. Music and workshops on five stages, crafts vendors, food and so much fun and friendship you will just never recover. I will be on the Azalea Stage Saturday at 1:00 pm and on the Main Stage, the Magnolia, on Sunday at 2:30 pm. Here is the full press release: WILLFEST BRINGS FLORIDA UNPLUGGED Enjoy Florida unplugged at WILLFEST 2007, March 9-11. The festival, honoring Florida’s "Black Hat Troubadour," Will McLean, features Florida performers who come from all parts of the state to share their music and stories. Beginning at Friday noon, performance stages, food, crafts, and workshop areas will open. Five stage areas will feature Florida’s finest acoustic musicians. The festival features storytelling, a Teen Turf and a children’s corner, as well as classy crafts and gourmet food The Friday workshops will feature "starter" sessions in fiddle, banjo, guitar, dulcimer, songwriting and more, for beginners. Workshop coordinator Suz Chapman has lined up some of Florida’s finest musicians to conduct these workshops, with more advanced levels scheduled for Saturday and Sunday. Anyone attending the festival is invited to join as many of these sessions as they wish. Workshops and "class in the grass" have become popular features of WILLFEST. Each year, Amy Carol Webb offers a mini version of one of her classes at the University of Miami. This year the session will be "Empowering Your Voice." Ernie Williams will head up "round the clock" banjo sessions, and Suz Chapman will organize continuous dulcimer workshops. The New Talent Contest, which was begun last year, will take place on Friday evening. Contestants will sign in at 7:00 p.m. Friday, March 9. Festival gates will open Wednesday morning, March 7, as campers settle in and get ready for a potluck supper on Thursday. The address is 85 Myers Road, Brooksville. Weekend tickets are $25 and camping is available. For information, visit www.willmclean.comor call 352-465-7208. Hosted By: Will McLean Foundation When: Saturday Mar 10, 2007 at 1:00 PM Where: Sertoma Youth Ranch Dade City, FL 33523 United States Description: Will McLean Foundation
